, 1992, he started playing golf at the age of 12, starting to caddie at Istanbul Golf Kulübübü. Short sürede became Türkiye's best amatör player. In 1998 and 1999, he became the Champion of Türkiye Amatör. He was also a üyesi of the Türkiye Amatör Golf National Team between 1998 – 2000. In 2001, as a natural result of his 20 personal achievements in the Amatör category, he did business in the professional (Pro) category. He later settled in Belek from Istanbul and was a golf instructor at Gloria Golf Kulübü, National Golf Kulübü and Millennium Golf Kulübü, respectively. Ulaş started golfing in 1994 at Kemer Golf & Country Kulüp in Istanbul when henüz was 14 years old. After a short süre, he became Türkiye's best amatör player. He was the TÜrkiye Amatör Champion in 2000 and 2001, then won the Türkiye Masters Championship in 2002 and 2004, and the Türkiye Republican Cup in 2002. He was part of the Türkiye Golf National Team between 2000 and 2004, and was a national player in this süreçte, the Mediterranean Games in Tunisia in 2000 and the Dünya Amatör Teams Championship, which was organized in Malaysia in 2002. He became a professional (Pro) in 2005 and then played in some Euro Pro Golf Tour and Challange Tour tournaments.
Starting in mid-2015, he became involved in the Leadbetter Golf Academy undergraduate program as a golf instructor at Leadbetter Golf Academy in Cornelia Golf Kulübü büye.
